MLB Hall of Famer Ted Williams signed this photograph of himself mid swing using a blue vintage fountain pen. This is an original George Burke photograph, who is one of the most respected and sought after baseball photographers. Burke captured the most iconic images of all the stars of his day. These included Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, and of course Ted Williams. Williams played professional baseball in the MLB from 1939 to 1960 with two interruptions to serve in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. Williams is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time, and won 2 AL MVPs and 2 Batting Triple Crowns during his career as well as being the last player to record a season batting average over .400.
