Found in the accompanying Brooklyn Dodgers pouch is this attractive and rare souvenir pinback button from the 1933 World Series played between the Washington Senators and the Brooklyn Dodgers. About as nice an example of this pin that can be found, the 1.75” diameter pin features Senators Manager Joe Cronin popping out of a Washington World Series baseball surrounded by the proclamation “Pennant Winners 1933,” recognizing their American League Pennant Championship. A rare artifact from this historic baseball franchise whose roster included several Hall of Famers and famed Catcher, Moe Berg; playing in one of only three trips to the World Series made by the Senators during their 60 year history playing in the nations capital. Near mint condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
