This 1963 "Back Our Brothers" original program has been signed by three of the most iconic figures in American history, Martin Luther King, Jr., Jackie Robinson and Ed Sullivan. Martin Luther King has signed in black ink, Jackie Robinson in pencil and Ed Sullivan, who has added "Hi Richard" in blue ink. All signed on the back of this program for the "Back Our Brothers" first annual awards banquet on June 18, 1963 at the Park Sheraton Hotel in New York City that featured King as one of the honorees. King's picture appears inside the program with a poetic citation by Noel N. Marder, the Chairman of Back Our Brothers. Measures 9 x 6. The signatures are in beautiful condition. The program shows age with yellowing, and a 1.25" x 1.25" stain on the cover. The pages are intact and the last page, which is blank on both sides is missing a 4 x 3 section. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
