Signed photograph of French aviator Louis Bleriot, who in 1909 became world famous for becoming the first to fly an airplane across the English Channel. Alao an inventor and engineer, Bleriot is credited with developing the first automobile headlamp and the first to use the combination of a hand operated joystick and foot operated rudder similar to what is still used today in aviation. Accompanied by a cachet envelope portrait card decorated and stamp posted in his honor. Very good condition. Photograph measures 5 X 4.
