An historical 1864 Civil War travel document and voucher signed by Charles Clark of the Navy Department, James S. Green (who later served as a US Senator from Missouri) and Secretary of the Navy, Gideon Wells. Wells served as Secretary from 1861 to 1869, having been appointed to his post by President Abraham Lincoln to whom he offered strong support during his 1860 election. Good condition. 9.75 X 8 folded page is split into three at the folds with its full content written on 3.375 X 8 panel. Guaranteed to pass James Spence Authentication (JSA) and comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
