Signed signature cut of Morrison Waite, the 7th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Signed “Affectionately Yours, M. R. Waite.” Waite was nominated to the Court by President Ulysses S. Grant and served from 1874 until his death in 1888. 1 X 3.5 signature cut is mounted to an 7.375 X 4.5 album page. Good condition.
