American author, lecturer, and political rights activist Helen Keller signed this cut of a pre-typed statement using a blue ballpoint pen. The statement is a request the donate to the Helen Keller Committee for the Deaf-blind and comes matted. Keller, who lived from 1880 to 1968, lost her sight and hearing after a bout of illness at just 19-months old. Having almost no ability to communicate, she was taught to read and write as well as speak using the Tadoma method from her lifelong communication coach Anne Sullivan. Good condition.
