27th President of the United States William Howard Taft signed this photograph of himself, which comes matted with the lyrics to “Song of the Knocker”, using a black paint pen. Taft’s signature comes on the matting itself, and the photograph is dated 1908. Taft served as President from 1900 to 1913 after having an explosive rise through the United States court system, becoming a judge in just his twenties. Good condition.
