Signed handwritten letter dated 1892 from Levi P. Morton, from his Vice-Presidential Office serving under President Benjamin Harrison (1889-1893). After is term in Office as Vice President, Morton was elected Republican Governor of the State of New York (1895-1896). Morton was involved in many civic and charitable causes including becoming one of the founders of the Metropolitan Opera and serving on the Board of Trustees of the American Museum of Natural History. Written on four sides of 5 X 8 folded stationary from the “Vice-President’s Chamber, Washington.” Very good condition. Guaranteed to pass James Spence Authentication (JSA) and comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
