37th President of the United States Richard Nixon signed this letter to his friend Victor Emmanuel about interpretations of Robert Taft using a black felt-tip pen. The letter is dated May 30, 1960, which takes place during his second term as Vice-President under the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration. Nixon served as President himself from 1969 to 1974.
