Noted heart surgeon Michael DeBakey has signed this 7 X 5 black and white photograph. During WWII he is credited with help developing the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH Units). His innovative surgical procedures include: coronary bypass operations, carotid endarterectomy, artificial hearts and ventricular assist devices. His awards include the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the National Medal of Science and the Congressional Gold Medal. Excellent condition.
