Marilyn Monroe owned this blue scarf and used it in a photoshoot. The scarf comes from famed Chicago Tribune photographer Earl Gustie. Gustie was known for shooting celebrities and politicians in his 6th floor studio at the Tribune Tower in Chicago. Gustie has shot JFK, Salvador Dali and of course, Marilyn Monroe. After the photoshoot, Monroe gave the scarf to Gustie as a thank you for the photographs. The photo was then featured as the Sunday cover of the Tribune. You can see Monroe holding this exact scarf at the photoshoot. The scarf was passed down from Earl Gustie to his son, Kyle Gustie. A remarkable piece of Monroe history, as finding something identifable to a photograph is almost unknown. Good condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Kyle Gustie and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
