The attached film was a part of the historic flight of Apollo 11. The following highlights review the important phases of its long Journey. July 16th, 1969 the film was on board the Apollo 11, Command Module “Columbia” when it was launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida. July 19th, 1969 Film went into orbit about the moon with Astronauts Neil A. Armstrong, Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. and Michael Collins. July 20th, 1969, film was placed on Lunar Module “Eagle” and accompanied Armstrong and Aldrin to surface of moon at Tranquility Base. 107 photographs were taken on this film roll, while on the surface of the moon. July 21st, 1969 the film returned to “Columbia” with Armstrong and Aldrin. July 22nd, 1969 the film began its journey back to Earth and finally on July 24th, 1969, it returned to earth. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of Space history that was actually on the moon and apart of the amazing Apollo 11 mission. Very good condition.
