This white Jackson V guitar was owned played by Vinnie Vincent with KISS on stage from 1982 through 1984 and subsequently with the Vinnie Vincent Invasion between 1986 and 1988. Jackson Guitars had furnished Vinnie Vincent with four ‘Shark Fin’ model guitars at the start of the Creatures Of The Night Tour. However, they proved to be a tuning nightmare, prompting Jackson to send Vinnie several non-whammy models to get him through the COTN tour until the bugs were worked out. Featured here is the very first ‘emergency’ guitar which Vinnie started using as far back as 1982. The guitar can be seen in many videos and photos from that era, including the infamous footage from the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro (June 1983). Eventually Vinnie sold the guitar to a private collector in Europe in 2016, who has kept the guitar ever since. The guitar comes with a two-page signed COA from Vinnie, dated July 17, 2016, various photos and prints of Vinnie with the guitar, as well as the original hard-shell case. This is a historic instrument from the last days of the initial KISS make-up era into their first non-make years. The guitar is in very good condition with common signs of use. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
