An incredible artifact of television history! This large vintage metal speaker was used on the stage of the famed Ed Sullivan Show during the 1960's and in the period when the Beatles performed on the show. In 1967, the 20th anniversary of the Ed Sullivan Show, the theater in which it was housed was renamed the Ed Sullivan Theater and it went on to stage some of the most important shows in television history, included "Late Night With David Letterman". From the collection of a crew member who worked at the theater. Very good, vintage condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
