Elvis Presley's personally owned and used gold-toned spotlight table lamp from his home in California. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate, who passed away in 2018. Pate was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally. During his long career, Pate and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large colleciton of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Pate knew Elvis Presley and he was good friends with his manager Colonel Tom Parker. Pate worked with Elvis and the Colonel several times over the years before Elvis passed away. After Elvis passed away, the Colonel gifted and sold Pate some articles that belonged to Elvis, including this lamp. According to the Colonel it had been used by Elvis at his "California home" and it was later discarded by staff. The table lamp measures 8.5" in height, 6.5" in width, 8" in length. Comes with a letter from Pate's widow, Clarine Plate, stating that the lamp was owned and used by Elvis Presley, on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
