Mark Lanegan spiral bound 8 x 10 notebook of handwritten lyrics, song lists and various notes. Screaming Trees was formed in late 1984 by Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bassist Van Conner, and drummer Mark Pickerel. Along with Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, The Melvins, and Nirvana, Screaming Trees were part of Seattle's emerging grunge scene in the early 1990s. This notebook dates from Lanigans second album around 1993. Many of the lyrics were recorded and this is an incredible glimpse into his personal writing. Good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
