Original Ali-Frazier I Photograph Taken By Frank Sinatra. In 1971, Life Magazine commissioned Frank Sinatra to photograph the now legendary fight known as Ali-Frazier 1. That fight was held on March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden. Some of the photograph of the fight appeared in the March 19, 1971 issue of Life Magazine. Indeed, one of Mr. Sinatra's photograph appeared on the cover of that issue of Life Magazine. All of the photographs, including those taken of Mr. Sinatra, were a gift from Frank Sinatra to his best friend, Jilly Rizzo. In 1980, A.J Fusco assumed ownership of these photograph, having acquired them from Mr. Rizzo. Between the years of 1979 through 1981, A.J. Fusco was the last owner of the infamous Jilly's Restaurant. The photograph measures approximately 13.5 x 10.5 and is matted to measure 16 x 20. The "Photo by Frank Sinatra" stamp appear on the matte. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
