Marilyn Monroe's cultured pearl necklace from the 1999 Marilyn Monroe Estate Sale. These cultured pearls were possibly worn by Marilyn at her first wedding, to James Dougherty in 1942. These were the only authentic cultured pearls in the Monroe estate sale. There were only two real pieces of jewelry in the 1999 estate sale, her diamond eternity band from Joe Dimaggio and these cultured pearls, all other pearls and jewelry of Marilyn's from this sale were costume. With the original auction tag. Marilyn is pictured here at her wedding with James Dougherty. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
