Paul McCartney Original Drawings (Caiazzo). A set of Paul McCartney hand-drawings in pencil, done when the rock icon was young, in Liverpool, drawn on a Liverpool Town and Country Planning Act of 1947 and other Liverpool planning documents. All hand-drawn by McCartney in pencil, the first sheet features a series of head portraits and what appears to be pots with handles or baskets with handles. Another features what appears to be a cartoon of sorts that McCartney has drawn, with a monster running towards a house, and a woman in the doorway of the house saying "Have you put the tent up, Fred?" - in McCartney's handwriting. Finally, McCartney has drawn the figure of a policeman or soldier with flaps on his cap, on the page that is titled "Town and Country Planning Act, 1947." The picture is very detailed, yet whimsical.

These drawings are a really incredible look into the young mind of the multi-talented lad, who would become a household name with the advent of the Beatles and of the most recognized performers of our time.

Dimensions:Three pieces of paper, measurements are as follows: Sheet with head portraits: approximately 8 in x 9 in, sheet with cartoon drawing approximately 8 in x 6.25 in.

Condition: Overall very good, the drawings are clear and distinct, the papers have a few pin holes on each at the left edge, and the large sheet has one inch tear at the top with some very light pink staining at the very edge, and other light wear.

Authentication: Letter from Beatles handwriting expert Frank Caiazzo and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
