U2's The Edge owned and played 1997 Gibson Les Paul Studio electric guitar, made in USA, serial no. 92057524, blue finish. The Edge gave this guitar to RTL, France's biggest radio station. The guitar was offered as a competition prize to coincide with U2's appearance at Parc des Princes on 6th September 1997. The guitar has been customized and bears a brass plaque to the back inscribed “Souvenier du Concert du Parc des Princes, U2-RTL 2, 6-9-97”. The guitar also comes with the original flyer from RTL radio station which translates to “Win the guitar of the concert U2. RTL 2 brings you the Gibson Les Paul guitar from Edge”. Any Edge guitar is highly sought after and would make an excellent addition to any U2 collection. Comes with a letter of authenticity, the original radio flyer, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
