Frank Zappa owned and worn sterling silver "Eagle" ring. With the sterling silver stamp on the inside of the ring. From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. For over four decades Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the United States and internationally. During his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers, including Frank Zappa. Irwin worked with Frank on several occasions. During one of their meetings, Irwin told Frank about his celebrity memorabilia collection. Frank gifted Irwin some of his belongings for his collection, including this sterling silver Eagle ring. Very good condition. The ring has been in the possession of the Pates up to the time of this auction. Irwin Pate passed away in May of 2018, and the ring comes with a letter of provenance from his wife Clarine Pate on Pate Booking Agency letterhead. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
