An incredible collection of Rush items, highlighting a stage-used set of Neil Peart drumsticks. The drumsticks were used on Roll the Bones Tour during Rushes November 10th, 1991 concert in the Bradley Center, Milwaukee, WI. The consignor had the opportunity to go backstage during the concert, where he got the sticks directly from Neil Peart. The lot also comes with two programs, one signed by Alex Lifeson in blue felt pen and Geddy Lee in black felt pen. The other signed by Alex Lifeson in blue felt pen and Neil Peart in blue felt pen. Lifeson adds the inscription “Very best wishes, Danny” and Peart adds, “To Danny, With Hope…” Incredibly rare to find stage used drumsticks, let alone ones that were used so early in his career. Neil Peart is considered to be one of the greatest drummers of all time, having been inducted in the Drummer Magazine Hall of Fame in 1983, and was voted the best drummer of all time in 2014. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
