MLB Hall of Famer Willie McCovey signed this San Francisco Giants Jersey with a black pen. McCovey played first baseman in the MLB for nineteen seasons, and played a majority of his career for the San Francisco Giants. He was one of the most dominant hitters of the 1960’s, winning the NL MVP in 1969 and leading the NL in home runs in 3 different seasons. He was called the “scariest hitter in baseball” by Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson and his lefty “dead pull” technique caused teams to employ a shift against him decades before it became the MLB norm. At the time of McCovey’s retirement, his 521 career home runs ranked 7th on the all-time home run list and 2nd amongst lefties — just behind Babe Ruth. Very Good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
