American Naval Admiral and World War II Louis Denfield signed this photo with an inscription to Radford. A career navy man, Denfield served as an admiral in the US Navy and served as Chief of Naval Operations from 1947 to 1949 and was instrumental in war efforts. After World War II, he served as the dual-hatted commander of the United States Pacific Command and Pacific Fleet. His highly decorated career includes a Navy Distinguished Service Medal and a Legion of Merit with two gold award stars and a “V” Device. Measures 8” x 12”. Good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
