An incredible piece of Kurt Cobain memorabilia, one of Kurt Cobain’s acoustic guitars which is signed three times as well as once by Krist Novoselic in black felt pen. According to Joshua Stomp the guitar originally came from Don Cobain, father of Kurt Cobain. In 1999, Don Cobain was traveling to Portland from Aberdeen, Washington and was in need of a car. Don asked his friend, Joshua Stomp, to borrow his car for the ride. They agreed on a fee and Don went on his way to Portland. However, once Don Cobain came back, the car was ruined and needed a lot of repairs. As payment, Don gave a guitar he had of Kurt's to Joshua Stomp. The guitar had been signed three times by Kurt, one time on the front in black marker, one time on the inside of the guitar, which seems to be carved in and finally on the back of the guitar in vintage ballpoint pen. The guitar is also signed by Krist Novoselic on the back in black marker. What makes this guitar extremely cool is the smiley face stamps on the inside of the guitar next to Cobain's signature. The guitar has no strings and is in poor condition but can be repaired. Comes with a letter of provenance from Joshua Stomp and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
