1896 Charles W. Eliot Signed Letter typed from Harvard University, dated March 17, 1896, the same year that he began his term serving as the 21st President of Harvard University. 5 X 8. Very good condition. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen.
