2007 Colorado Rockies National League Championship ring awarded to staff member Darwin Cox.
Complete with its original presentation box. Also accompanied by the rarely seen original cover letter and certificate of appraisal from Intergold (the manufacturer of the ring). This paperwork was sent to each recipient and was almost never saved. (In fact, this is the first we have seen.) The design of the ring incorporates seventy small diamonds on the top, both surrounding and inlaid within an interlocking "CR." The lettering around the bezel reads "National League Champions." One shank features the Rockies team logo and is lettered "Rocktober - 21 of 22 Wins" above the logo and "WS 07" below it. The opposite shank features the National League logo in the center and the name of the recipient, "Cox," above it. Also featured on the shank is a banner reading "First Pennant," the year, "2007," and the Rockies' regular-season record "90-73." Engraved on the interior band is "Intergold 10K." 2007 marked the first-ever World Series appearance by the Colorado Rockies, making this a highly desirable souvenir from that historic season. On the accompanying Intergold certificate of appraisal, the replacement value for this ring is $5,845, which is the value for 2008.
This replacement value relates to the cost of the ring in 2007 to the team; the rings were not available for sale to the public. Near Mint to Mint condition. Size: 10. Weight: 43.8 grams.
Authentication: Intergold Certificate of Appraisal and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
