This Beatles 1964 signed 5.75" x 3.5” black and white Parlophone Records promotional card has been signed by all four members of the Beatles, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison in different blue ballpoint pens and Ringo Starr with “XXX” added after his name in black ballpoint pen. Parlophone Records, a German company, established a British branch in 1923. In 1955, George Martin who had been serving as the assistant to the president, took over the position himself and in 1962 he signed the Beatles, then a rising band in Liverpool. The Beatles would soon turn Parlophone into one of the world's most famous and sought-after record labels. This also marked the beginning of a long relationship between the Beatles and Martin whose expertise as a music producer took the group to distinctive new heights. Excellent condition.
