An original promotional poster for the first singles release on Apple Records, the label started by the Beatles in 1968. The 20" x 30” black and white poster is titled, “the beatles hey jude, revolution apple records,” and is identified in small type on the bottom margin, “Pictured by Don McMullan. Designed by John Kelly,” and “Printed for Splash Posters Ltd. By Burgess and Son (Abington) Ltd.” The provocative image of the Fab Four places Paul at the piano in stocking feet as George and Ringo look at John who appears less than entertained by a parrot perched on his barefoot. “Hey Jude” was the first A Side and “Revolution” the first complimentary B Side released by Apple Records. Excellent Condition. Estimate: $500 - $600.
