In the spring of 2003, as a 6’ 7” freshman small forward at Syracuse University, Carmelo Anthony led the Orangemen to the NCAA title. Two months later he was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the No. 3 overall in the 2003 NBA Draft, following LeBron James and Darko Milicic, respectively. Offered here is one of Anthony’s game-worn and signed Nuggets home jerseys that he donned during his seven-year tenure in the Mile High City.
The white Reebok jersey with light blue trim reads “NUGGETS” across the chest in light blue tackle twill outlined in darker blue and gold followed by his uniform number “15” below in similar fashion. The official embroidered NBA logoman patch sits on the jersey's upper left chest and the letter “D’ (for Denver) can be seen embroidered in blue and gold at the base of the front collar. The "Reebok size 56" manufacturer’s tag can be seen on the front left tail. On the verso is “ANTHONY” in light blue tackle twill across the shoulders with his uniform number “15” just below in light blue tackle twill outlined in darker blue and gold. Anthony has signed the “1” on the back of the jersey in vertical fashion in fine-point blue marker.
This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light wear throughout.
