This vintage white vest with vertical stripes made of silver-lined glass bugle beads and large rhinestone buttons was worn by Pop Diva Christina Aguilera in the soccer themed Pepsi commercial “Anthem (Dad a da)” which debuted on major satellite television channels in May of 2006, and featured cameos of famous “footballers” David Beckham, Roberto Carlos and Thierry Henry. Ms. Aguilera can be seen wearing the vest in all three versions of the commercial: the English-language spot with Christina singing by herself, one featuring Christina singing alongside Elissa, the best selling female pop artist in the Middle East, and another alongside Rain, an immensely popular male vocalist from South Korea. Ms. Aguilera also appeared wearing the vest in printed Pepsi ad campaign materials with Rain. The garment is in very good screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house that supplied the garment to the production.
