Courtney Love Early Stage Worn Victoria's Secret Black Babydoll Slip Dress.,
Courtney Love wore this black lace slip dress for an early performance in her career, in San Francisco when she performed with Sugar Babylon (aka Sugar Baby Doll). Courtney is pictured here with her early bandmates wearing a long black sleeveless dress that is reminiscent of this baby doll slip dress. According to the Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies this black slip dress, Courtney purchased the slip in San Francisco when she was still Corney Michelle Harrison. Courtney purchased and wore this slip in performance before she change her name to Courtney Love and before she founded her own group HOLE. Courtney left the garment at her fathers George (Hank) Harrison's home in the 1980's among several suitcases with other personal items, which she never reclaimed.
Size: The "Victoria's Secret" label is intact, sewn into the garment, however the label that would state the size was removed. We would estimate it as a women's size small.
Condition: Very good.
Authenticity: Certificate of Authenticity dated October 3, 2017 and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
