Duke and Duchess of Windsor (King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson) Signed Royal Stationery. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, former King Edward VIII, and his wife Wallis Simpson, have singed this Royal ecru stationery in steel-tip fountain pen (originally most likely blue fountain pen, the ink has turned to a dark grey). Edward has signed "Edward, Duke of Windsor" and Wallis has signed "Wallis Windsor" on official Royal vellum stationery is accompanied by printed note on the same type of ecru stationery, "With the Compliments of the Private Secretary of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor" and is accompanied by the original Royal envelope that is post-dated February 7, 1952, and also carries a royal crest on the back, as well as "O.H.B.M.S." typed on the front, at the top. It was a reply to a someone who requested the autographs from the United States.
Dimensions: The two sheets: 5.5 in x 3.5 in. Envelope: 4.25 in x 5.25 in.
Condition: The signatures are in excellent condition. Both sheets of stationery have either small tears, or remnants of light tape where it has been likely attached (at the corners only) to a scrapbook. The original envelope is good condition, it was slit open on the bottom and has some age spotting.
