Famed Beatles photographer Astrid Kirchherr has signed this early, circa 1959-60, original 20 x 24 photograph featuring The Beatles John Lennon in Hamburg, Germany, in silver ink. Stuart Sutcliffe is seen in the background. Kirchherr took some of the most iconic early Beatles portraits. She became very close with the band, especially with Sutcliffe who left the Beatles to be with Astrid and pursue an art career, before tragically dying at the age of 21 of a brain hemorrhage. Beautifully matted and framed to measure 32 x 36. Accompanied by a copy of the original bill of sale from Astrid's K&K shop in Hamburg, dated August 3, 2007. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
