The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003 and was included in the 2005 book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. In 2003 and 2012, the album was ranked number 91 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
