These are Elvis Presley’s early 1970’s worn aviator glasses. The glasses, which were broken by Elvis,, were worn extensively by Elvis in 1970-1971. They comprised of gilded plastic frames with light purple lenses. Elvis had cracked the top of the glasses and the right lenses fell out. The next time he picked up more glasses from Optique Boutique, he handed these in to be repaired, but they were not repairable. Accompanied by letters of authenticity from Dennis Roberts and Artie Dadyan (Artie is Dennis' custom work man and is an authority on Elvis' glasses). What makes these glasses more special than others we have seen is that they are very worn, (most of his glasses look new). The gold color is almost worn off on the metal ear stems and it has Elvis' caked on "hairspray" on the brown plastic ear stems, along with bite marks! Also comes with the original case and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
