This is Elvis Presley's owned and worn sterling silver and turquoise smash blossom necklace. Turquoise and silver was one of Elvis' favorite types of jewelry to wear and he was often seen in the 1970's sporting spectacular pieces such as this one. Elvis gifted this necklace to Shaun Nielsen who first met Elvis in 1966 when he was a backup signer on Elvis' gospel album "How Great Thou Art." They became good friends and in the 1970's Shaun was a singer in the group Elvis organized named "Voice" and he was with Elvis as a singer until Elvis' final show. Elvis gave Shaun this necklace early one morning after one of their gospel singing sessions, which they often did after a show in Vegas. Very good condition. Comes with letter of authenticity from Shaun Nielsen, a picture of Elvis wearing a very similar necklace, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
