Elvis Presley owned and wore this beautiful Native American turquoise ring in the early 1970’s. At that time this kind of jewelry became quite popular and Elvis wore a lot of it, including the Squash Blossom necklaces, bracelets and turquoise rings. This Navajo turquoise ring was one of Elvis’ favorites. The ring has elaborate silver work with turquoise and is accented with a piece of red corral. Elvis gifted this ring to close friend Charlie Hodge one day after realizing how many turquoise rings he had and asked Charlie "What am I going to do with so many turquoise rings?” Elvis dealt with it the way he usually did. He gave it away! Comes with a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge and photo of Elvis wearing a similar ring. Very good condition.
