Elvis Presley owned and worn brown leather boots.

Elvis wore these boots in the 1970's, and he had several pairs of these type of short, just-above-the-ankle boots as they were one of his favored sytles.You can see from the creases in the leather that Elvis wore these boots many times.

Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. For over four decades he promoted talent all over the United States and internationally. During his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew Elvis Presley and was good friends with his manager Colonel Tom Parker. Irwin worked with Elvis and the Colonel several times over the years before Elvis passed away. Irwin obtained these Elvis Presley owned and worn boots from the Colonel in the late 1970's, after Elvis had passed away. The Colonel gifted Irwin some articles that belonged to Elvis after Irwin told him that he was a collector. The boots have been in the possession of the Pates up to the time of this auction.

Authenticity: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine Pate on Pate Booking Agency letterhead (Irwin passed away in May of 2018), and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
