Provenance: From the collection of Paul Lichter.
The jacket comes from Paul Lichter, who was a close friend of Elvis Presley and was gifted this jacket personally from Elvis.
Paul was considered one of the world’s foremost authorities on Elvis Presley.
Paul attended over 850 of his concerts, has written 16 best-selling books on Elvis which have sold over 20 million copies, and has made guest appearances on hundreds of TV shows about Elvis. He also owned thousands of pieces of Elvis Memorabilia with his own website!
This jacket was also a part of Bonham’s Elvis auction on August 30th, 1997 which featured the Paul Lichter collection. It was listed as lot 221 in the auction, with the jacket selling for roughly $8,000.
