Elvis owned and worn Lansky Brothers, Memphis suede trench coat. The light brown suede coat is the typical "Superfly" type coat that Elvis took to wearing after seeing the popular movie. The long coat features crushed brown faux fur on the oversized lapels, large faux fur cuffs and a faux fur strap with connecting buttons on the back of the coat. The coat bears the Lansky Brothers, Memphis label - Elvis' favorite men's store that he shopped at starting when he was a young man. Very good condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Elvis Presley's friend Sherril "Shaun" Nielsen, a gospel singer who performed with Elvis as a backup singer. Shaun first met Elvis in 1966 when he was a backup singer on Elvis gospel album "How Great Thou Art" which led to their friendship and an eventual contract drawn up by Elvis himself. Shaun was with Elvis as a singer until his final show. Elvis gifted the coat to Shaun during a recording session at Graceland in October of 1976. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
