A stuffed Hound Dog from the Summer Festival engagement at the Las Vegas Hilton from 1972, inscribed in black ballpoint pen, “To Sandy from Elvis Presley.” The Hound Dog measures approximately 13” in height. Attached to the left ear is a ribbon with “ELVIS” printed down the ribbon with “SUMMER FESTIVAL” printed on the bottom of the ribbon. When performing the song “Hound Dog”, Elvis would take these stuffed Hound Dogs and wipe his forehead and perspiration much like he would do with his famous scarves. The lucky fan that caught this Hound Dog managed to get to go backstage after the show and Elvis autographed the Hound Dog to her. With some wear, overall very good condition. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
