Elvis Presley Stage Worn & Owned Brown Leather Ankle Boots.

Elvis Presley's owned and worn "signature" brown leather ankle boots. Another one of Elvis's trademark looks was the leather ankle boot with zipper on the side. Elvis wore this boots both on and off-stage. Each boot has the size (11) and a serial number, plus other identifying numbers, stamped inside the boot. It is easy to see Elvis hanging out with his close friends dubbed the "Memphis Mafia" at Graceland and wowing the audience on stage, in this books which are in excellent condition.

These boots comes from the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional agent Irwin Pate, During his very long career, Irwin and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. When traveling on concert tours Irwin often would obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members and venue staff, and some items he obtained directly from the celebrity. Among the vast number of entertainers that he came in contact with, worked with, and knew was Elvis Presley. This pair of size 11 men's brown leather zip-up boots were given to a venue employee by Elvis for help with a "highly personal issue." A few years later the employee gave them to Irwin after he told him of his collection.

Authentication: Letter from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate, on their company stationery and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
