Elvis Presley used this Harmony Monterey leader guitar in this film "Paradise Hawaiian Style". The brand of the guitar is blacked out on the guitar as it was the Colonel's way of never providing free advertising. According to the letter of provenance provide by his close friend Charlie Hodge who was Elvis' stage director, sang harmony with him, kept his guitars in tune and helped him with the set lists for his shows, Elvis usually kept the guitar from his films after the production was finished. The guitar is marked on the back of the body "Paramount Pictures Prop Department". Elvis gave the guitar to Charlie in the late 1960's. The guitar is accompanied by photos of Elvis from the film and a Charlie Hodge's letter of provenance. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
