This is the Harmony Monterey sunburst acoustic guitar that Elvis Presley played in his 1964 movie "Roustabout." He uses the guitar in a number of scenes. There were two guitars used in the movie, the first one is broken when Elvis' character is run off the road while he's driving his motorcycle. The carnival owner replaced his broken guitar with this one. Elvis gifted the guitar to his close friend and stage director Charlie Hodge. Charlie also kept all of Elvis' guitars in tune and took care of them, and Elvis often gave him his older guitars. Very good condition. The guitar comes with a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge and photographs from the film. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
