This is Elvis Presley's "Viva Las Vegas" film used Gibson guitar that he also owned and used personally. He signed and inscribed the guitar to his long time very close friend Charlie Hodge who was also his stage director and appeared as an extra in many of his films. Elvis played this guitar in his scene at the pool with Ann-Margret. The scene was shot several times and the guitar between shots was not removed from the pool right away, and over the years some of the finish on the guitar has come off. In the late 1960's Elvis was joking around with his friends at Graceland when Charlie pushed him into the guitar accidentally, and Elvis the guitar. Charlie always took care of Elvis's guitars and he later gave the guitar to Charlie. Comes with a detailed letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge and photographs of Elvis from the film with the guitar, including one showing him getting out of the pool with it. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
