This is Elvis Presley’s personally owned and worn suede shirt jacket made with an additional interior label on a smaller inside pocket by Sy Devore. The stylish button front suede jacket with a Sy Devore label on the interior. Additional label on the interior of inner pocket, the inside pocket reading “Sy Devore” with “ELVIS PRESLEY” typed on one line and a date of “8-22-65” following by the numbers “9123.” Sy Devore was known as the tailor to the stars, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Elvis, among others. Sy Devore designed clothing for Elvis for many of his films, notably, “Viva Las Vegas” and “It Happened At The World’s Fair” as well as much of Elvis’ private wardrobe. Accompanied by signed letter from Elvis' friend and employee Alan Fortas, a member of Elvis' "Memphis Mafia", on his personal stationery. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
