Eric Clapton Stage Used 1989 Gibson Chet Atkins Classical Electric Guitar, serial number 80959569

Provenance: From the collection of session guitarist Phil Palmer

Palmer was Eric Clapton’s session guitarist during the 1990 tour and was on stage with him during every performance. This acoustic guitar was Palmer’s personal guitar, but lent it to Clapton throughout the tour

Clapton would play this acoustic guitar every performance during the song “Can’t Find My Way Home” including the performances at the Hartford Civic Centre in 1990 and the River Plate Concert in 1990

Stage used Clapton guitars are very hard to find, but finding one with a picture of him using it is extremely hard to find. Combine that with the rock solid provenance, this is a home run type item

Authentication: Letter of Provenance and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity
