George Harrison Commissioned, Owned & Displayed Hindu God Vivasan Figure/Pendant.
This beautiful metal figure/pendant of the Hindu god Vivasvan "who lights the world and givens sustenance to all living entities" was commissioned and owned by George Harrison. In the form of a sun, you can see seven small holes at the bottom of seven sun rays where small bangles used to hang, but have been lost over time. According to the certificate of authenticty that accompanied the piece, George commissioned it to be made when he was in Jaipur, India, and George kept it mainly in Vrndavana where he lived in various Krishna temples over the years. He also used it as a decoration handing in one of his cars back in England (you can see a small metal circle attached to one of the sun rays on the top where most likely hung it in his car). George also kept the piece in one of his guitar cases for a period, as it was a "part of his traveling altar of Krishna consciousness."

Condition: Overall good. vintage used condition, shows wear from its use by George.
